From the bottom of my heart, thank you all 🙏🏽 💕Since the very beginning, we have been a community-fueled movement that puts people first. We don’t take a dime in corporate money, accept no backroom meetings with Wall Street lobbyists, and have relied on small-dollar grassroots donations from everyday people. As a result, we’ve been able to lead with what comes first: Local community paired with policies that center working families and see EVERYONE for their dignity, beauty, and worth. Our average campaign donation floats around $16-$19 - something that was once thought to be impossible to win with in politics. And that’s all because of you. YOU all have demonstrated that we can not only survive, but THRIVE when power belongs to the people. I am grateful that such a structure allows us to co-govern, answer big questions and navigate uncertainty together, too. . Being your representative in Congress is a deep privilege and reality I never thought could even be possible for someone like me just a few years ago. I’ll never take it for granted. Thank you 💐
