Posted @withrepost • @stirfryguru @honolulumag ‘s latest issue is devoted to saving their Chinatown. I’m extremely honored there’s a piece by @marthacheng about my work. The opening line is: "Grace Young wants to save Chinatowns across the country, including Honolulu’s, even though she’s never been.” Well I’d love to visit Honolulu’s Chinatown sometime soon but in the meanwhile, thanks to the generosity of the Julia Child Foundation I was able to give $10,000 in grant money to Honolulu’s Chinatown. The funds go to the non-profit @chefhuihi and will go to @singcheongyuanbakery and Royal Kitchen to feed those in need.
