Upside down pumpkin cupcake cones🎃
Be sure to save the full recipe below👇
You’ll need:
- 1 box of Funfetti Halloween cake mix
- additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per box instructions
- 24 ice cream cones (about 2”- 4” tall with flat bottoms)
-1 tub Funfetti Halloween Frosting
- Piping bag
- Piping tip #4
-Chocolate taffy candy
- Green sour belt candy
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare cake mix according to box directions. Grease muffin tray thoroughly. Spoon 3 tablespoons of batter into each muffin cavity without a liner. Do not overfill. Place an inverted cone on top of each cupcake.
2. Bake for 17-22 minutes. Cool completely in muffin tin before removing.
3. Spoon 1/4 of the tub of frosting into a piping bag fitted with a number 4 piping tip.
4. Frost each pumpkin with remaining Funfetti Halloween frosting. Place a chocolate taffy candy into the center of each pumpkin. Pipe the “lines” of the pumpkin. Cut out leaves from the green sour belt candy and add to your pumpkin cones. Top with sprinkles from frosting lid.
