Formafantasma - Fold, Maison Matisse (2022) Fold is our latest collaboration with Maison Matisse for a series of lamps presented at Fuorisalone 2022 in Milan. The new collection, Fold, consists of a series of lights that reinterpret the inventive paper cut-outs and pure colors of Henri Matisse through a process-based approach, inspired by the artist’s methodology rather than the mere aesthetic language of his body of work. The initial folded paper mock-ups, influenced by Matisse’s way of working, become the three-dimensional sketches from which the collection has evolved.
