Featured Reel by @photographyourfood . Save this for shooting with shadows! Shadows make your shot more dynamic by adding elements of visual interest that the eye is immediately attracted to, as compared to a plain background which can make your image look flat. To create shadows, you’ll need a hard light source. I used my Godox v860ii speed light for this shot, and lit the @honest lip balm from the left side using my Godox AD600 pro strobe on a softbox with grid. 1. Use museum putty to hold down objects such as the lip balm. It’s strong enough but can be removed easily. I have a couple of packs of these in the studio and use some in every shoot! 2. While using a stand can help secure the position of your lights, testing them free hand gives you the ability to test new positions quickly. 3. Experiment with hard light coming from different locations but also different distances away from the leaves. This will create harder and softer shadows. #productphotography #filmmaker #cinematography #produtos #fotografia #canon #dslr #100mm #lipbalm #beauty #beautyphotography #tutorialvideo #behindthescenes
