Anne was such a kind soul with such an incredibly generous spirit. Anne took me under her wing when I got my first big job on NBC. She shared her stylist with me and her glam budget when I wasn’t allocated one. She advocated for me. Anne had an adventurous soul and was always looking for ‘treasure’.. we would go into the strangest, smallest shops from Colorado, to Morocco, to New Mexico hunting for what she deemed treasure. Anne picked me up from the airport when I first moved to LA. Anne was so uniquely Anne. She had her demons but my god was her light bright. Anne was love. I truly believe Anne did the absolute best with the hand she was dealt. She smiled abundantly and was so full of zest. Also, my GOD did that woman have style. When we were shooting in Albuquerque Anne threw a fundraiser for the 2017 Hurricane in Peurto Rico. She didn’t have her name attached to it, she didn’t want to gloat about what she was doing, she just wanted to help. Anne’s spirit was generosity. In the few years I’d known her she made a huge impact on my life. I can only imagine the devastation felt by her immediate family and friends. I wish I had something more than thoughts and prayers to offer. The world can be such a cruel place. Love your loved ones. Remember that love is a verb, it’s something you DO.
