Aulden is heading back to school next week with glasses 🧡 The range of emotions we’ve gone through the past few weeks have been interesting.... The Vulnerability of learning your child can’t see how he should The guilt that I didn’t catch it before now, did I not see the signs?! Happiness knowing he can see things now, that he struggled with before 😭 Gratitude that he’s healthy, happy and well Looking back, I was really struggling to get him to concentrate as I pointed to words I had stuck on the wall. He was “adapting” and memorising the words because he couldn’t see them properly 😭 Kids are so resilient and adapt to any situation thrown at them, it’s sometimes the parents that struggle with the changes 🥴 Side note... I feel glasses back in my school days were considered extremely uncool and nerdy but NOW they’re so common and almost a fashion statement.
