I usually don’t post my tattoos online only because they are personal to me but this one has likely the most importance of all of them. Most of you will not know that my mother and I have opposite birthdays. My birthday is June 2 and hers is February 6 which work out to be 06/02 and 02/06. I’ve been going back and forth on memorial pieces but nothing has seemed to fit. Until I though of this. My mother chose to share a grave with her mother, and doing so there was only limited space as to what we could put on her memorial. Unfortunately we only got to put the year of her birth and passing thinking on that fact I knew that I needed to put her birthday on my right hand, my dominant hand. Everything I do I hope to be guided by my mother. With or without these tattoos I know she is with me but, having this reminder gives me a lot of comfort as it’s a constant reminder she’s with me every step of the way, every decision, every moment.
