arms linked. leaning in. always praying. • • • that is woodlands. • • • these are servant-hearted warriors for the kingdom. • • • this is the herd I choose to run with. this has easily been the most surreal, thrilling, chaotic, and fulfilling summer of my life! i have never felt more confident in saying that God had me right where i should be, doing what he called me to do. i’m beyond grateful for all the experiences, friendships, memories and laughter had. The Lord is the giver of good gifts. This place has been an irreplaceable gift. I’ve found rest here. I’ve found home here. I’ve healed. I’ve deeply loved. I’ve been deeply loved. • I’ve found that I underestimate God way to often. This summer i’ve learned how the spirit of expectation is not your friend. Over and over again, He shows up in new and incredible ways, reminding me of His goodness. God is doing a new thing, not only in my life, or the lives of these awesome students, but there is a wave of revival that I am so excited to watch. watching campers grow and take steps this summer is truly an honor. God doesn’t have to chose me to move, but He still does. It doesn’t make sense, but God chooses us. • what God asks of us is to give Him our “yes” Make yourself available, and He will allow you to see first hand what love in action looks like. • God is good. God is unconditional love. He is all truth and grace, and I am so glad He is patient in teaching me these things:)
