Greece is so much more than the islands 🏝 Athens was one of the best trips I have taken to date. It was so much fun and we took it slow so we could really experience the city. I felt perfectly safe the whole time, HOWEVER, I visited with a group of friends and only went off on my own a couple of times. I posted a tiktok about Athens and was surprised by horror stories of women going alone being sexually harassed and assaulted. I feel very privileged I got to experience the city for everything it had to offer without these experiences. And I urge you, if you are looking to travel here alone, do your research and keep that in mind.
