Ethereal underground hike from a few days ago. Fun fact: NASA scientists believe they have discovered skylights to lava caves on the moon and mars and are considering them as great colonization locations. The caves would shield people from harsh radiation and extreme temperature swings and possibly have water inside. NASA thinks they could even build a network of underground roads to connect different chambers. What are your thoughts? I’ve explored dozens of different lava tubes and it’s always fun to think about while hiking around. Sometimes these caves go for miles in total darkness and have different passages that split off in different directions. It can be a bit creepy when you go that far but that's also part of the fun 🦇🔦.
