Yup .. that’s right! I do not accept tips for my services 😱 I get asked all the time why I chose to take tipping away. Customer service is my main focus when I do any client that sits in my chair. For me, I started to feel that when I was accepting tips, it would make some people feel “obligated.” I never want anyone to feel that they HAD to tip me in fear of not receiving the best possible service from me. Also, I have clients from all over, and some save every last penny to come see me so sometimes adding a tip can break their budget. Most of all, I am a professional that offers luxury hair services and did not feel the need to be tipped. My prices are what they are and it helps to know that it is just that, no added 15-20% on top of it because of a tip. I definitely don’t knock anyone who takes tips in this industry, this is just what I feel works best for me. It takes the awkwardness out of the picture for my clients and check out is a breeze without them having to worry if they are leaving a good enough tip. The way you can “tip” me best is by sharing your experience, writing a review, recommending me to your friends and most of all being a repeat, loyal client 🙏🏿 What do you think about tipping in our industry?
