My name is Taylor and I have been visually impaired for all of my 32 years. I’m creating this network to provide support and encouragement to people like myself who want to continue to live life to the fullest despite new or existing visual challenges. My eye history includes congenital cataracts, lens removals, glaucoma, a prosthetic left eye, a cornea transplant, and most recently a retina detachment in my “good” right eye. My current vision is similar to looking through wax paper, only distinguishing light, color, and some shapes. I am six months into this new normal and still have plenty to learn. I continue to rely on God for strength as I have done my entire life. I know I wouldn’t be the determined person that I am today if I didn’t have my faith and community of prayer warriors, so that is my hope and inspiration for creating this ministry.
