Happy to announce that my film, ‘THE BEST’ will have its World Premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival @tiff_net THE BEST is a short film about a South Asian bodybuilder who internally pumps himself to hide his true feelings in the wake of a life-changing tragedy. THE BEST is a pseudo sequel to my film STRONG SON (2020) that premiered at TIFF in 2020, that also starred Mandeep Sodhi, and my late father, Jagdeep Singh Bawa. THE BEST was made as part of the Canadian Film Centre - Norman Jewison Film Program.
