And the result? Two handfuls. Two hands full. Two film legends with their heads in their hands. In honor of the #1 movie in America... On the left, Michael Myers, a cinematic horror villain for four and a half decades. On the right, Jamie Lee Curtis, a cinematic heroine and the daughter of TWO motion picture icons. And...there’s more! A “head shot” of the two of them AND...if you keep swiping, there’s a little yarn we’d like to share. This is the third “throw back” to a shoot for Entertainment Weekly from four years ago, a Monday in September when we built, pre lit, shot and tore down four set pieces all in one day. This was a day on which Jamie Lee Curtis’ dedication to being a fantastic presence in front of the camera intersected with Michele Romero’s creative and illustrative intuition. One of the MULTITUDE ideas we executed was an homage to the Irving Penn photograph of Willem deKooning and his pal, Frederick Kiestler...which has never ever ever been referenced in modern photography. Never. On the grey set, the main is an @elinchrom_ltd Octobank and the fill is a large @chimeralighting soft box right underneath it. The backdrop is from @schmidlibackdrops. On the “white” set, the main is a large @chimeralighting strip and an @elinchrom_ltd Octobank, unbaffled, right underneath it.
