Do your curls get snagged or stuck in the brush when you’re brush styling? ⤵️ Here’s how to section! Sectioning is helpful not only to evenly apply your gel for maximum frizz protection, but can also help you better brush style. 1. Use your pointer fingers to create clean lines, and be sure you’re going under the hair, against the scalp so you get a clean line and prevent snags from other sections. 2. Clip up the top section out of the way, and be sure to lift the hair up along the line then clip it. If your hair is looped down over the section it could get grabbed by the brush. 3. Pick up vertical sections of hair that are not too large. Point the nose of the brush down, apply slight tension and glide it down the strand. You can also try horizontal sections if you want to better cover your scalp or brush style a whole section at once quickly. Need more help with brush styling issues?
