20 years ago today and I’ve loved you from the moment I knew you would be a part of my world. I’ve loved seeing you pursue those moments in life where you’ve discovered something that lights your heart up and gets you excited - and watching you pursue it with passion and dedication. When you got that entrepreneurial spark in you at 10 years and decided to create a business, learn how to make products, market them, sell them and re-invest what you made in it to keep it going. When you decided you wanted to play soccer for the first time and went right for the goalie spot. When you decided you wanted to play the trumpet for the first time in 5th grade and became a leader in the jazz band. When you decided you wanted to play Lacrosse for the first time your freshman year of High School, committed to 4 years of play, learned the game from scratch and became a leader on the Varsity team. When you decided Princeton University was where you wanted to go to college and without reservation, lept 3,000 miles from home...and in the first semester, you go out for Club Lacrosse, try out for, get a call back, and make the Princeton Footnotes Acapela Group...and have been center stage soloing! I love how you don’t allow what you don’t know, keep you from becoming the best ‘you’ can be. I love how fiercely protective you are about your older sister. I love that you've found love, how giddy you are, and how you’ve allowed yourself to be fully in that experience. Griffin my son, you inspire me every day. And I am so proud of who you are, the heart have, all you’ve accomplished and the life you are creating for yourself. There is no level of quantification that can truly describe how much I love you but if I were to try I love you more than ALL the pictures and videos I've ever taken - and ALL those to come!
