The Intimacy Of: Bish Bash Falls ๐ฆ
Being back home means going back to trails I loved when I lived here. Bish Bash Falls was my favorite because it was the most perfect morning hike and it being my birthday ๐(it was 9/17!) - I wanted to go here on the day I became a year older. I enjoyed going to this waterfall to take photos and enjoy being near the tallest waterfall in Massachusetts.
However, this trip back home and as I am exploring the intimacy in nature ๐ฟ - I wanted to showcase this 1 mile out and back home without showing the waterfall - which is the draw, the attraction to this hike. I truly believe the trail there is one of the most beautiful trails and finding intimacy along the edges and near the creek was what I was drawn to this time.
I found plenty of green frogs ๐ธ (something Iโve never seen as much as I visited this hike), mushrooms ๐, and flora from the late summer rain. Mosquitoes danced in the sunlight as tips of green trees began to turn crisp red.
Itโs the feeling of that hike up to the waterfall that makes me miss that hike. The distinct feeling of comfort and a child-like wonder ๐ญ. The waterfall is already intimately beautiful but I never sat down by the creek, enjoys the chatter of hikers passing by, and the slow burn of the sunlight that found its way through the canopy of trees.
If you ever find your way to this hike, I hope you donโt rush up to the waterfall but find as much beauty along this short yet lively trail. ๐
