Oggi nasce con la stimatissima @essilorluxottica una nuova importante partnership. Questa scelta che abbiamo condiviso è molto di più di una firma. È un atto di reciproco affetto e stima tra due realtà che nascono dalla passione per la bellezza e per la cura delle cose fatte per bene. Con il compianto Leonardo Del Vecchio, del resto, ho sempre avuto un rapporto speciale e non dimenticherò mai quando mi disse: “Guarda Brunello, non so se gli occhiali sono belli, quello che posso dirti è che sono fatti nel miglior modo possibile”. È una frase che sento molto vicina al mio modo di vedere il lavoro. Poi ho nel cuore quando, negli ultimi giorni della sua vita parlava della “bella fabbrica” di Agordo: per me è valso come una vera e propria ispirazione e, non a caso, il nostro costante impegno è diretto proprio a rendere sempre più bella la nostra fabbrica di Solomeo. Anche per questo sono profondamente fiducioso per questa preziosa intesa che le nostre rispettive nuove generazioni sono chiamate a coltivare per l’avvenire. It is an act of mutual affection and respect between two realities inspired by the passion for beauty and the care of things done well. I have always had a special relationship with the late Leonardo Del Vecchio, and I will never forget his words: "Brunello, I don't know if my eyewear is beautiful, what I can vouch for is that it is made in the best possible way". It is a statement that I feel is very close to the way I myself view work. Then I still fondly remember when, in the last days of his life, he spoke of the "beautiful factory" of Agordo: for me he was a true source of inspiration and, not surprisingly, our unfailing commitment is directed precisely to increasingly beautify our factory in Solomeo.
