There are athletes… and then there are forces of nature. Lindsey Vonn is the latter. For more then two decades, she didn’t just win races — she reshaped what young girls believed was possible. She showed them how to dream boldly. How to fall hard and get back up. How to stare down doubt, injury, critics, and even Father Time — and refuse to blink. This past year, we all watched her chase a dream that many said was impossible. The noise was loud. The doubters were confident. The “experts” were certain. And once again, Lindsey proved that belief, courage, and relentless determination are stronger than any headline or hot take. She reminded the world — especially a whole generation of young girl ski racers — that you never let ANYONE tell you what you can’t do. You lace up your boots. You get in the gate. And you go. As the proud father of an amazing daughter, I say bring on the role models like Lindsey. Bring on the women who show our daughters that strength and grace can coexist. That setbacks are setups. That limits are often illusions. We woke up early to watch Lindsey chase her dream. And in doing so, she gave millions of girls permission to chase theirs. Here’s to courage. Here’s to resilience. Here’s to getting up — every single time. Because there is no limit to what you can achieve if you just get up and do it.
