i’m going fast and staying still at exactly the same time. every place we go is a destination of its own. there’s specific culture, food and architecture in each region, if not each city, but it is still overarchingly familiar. people come to visit and it seems like they’re all from LA but they’re not. well they are and they’re not... but either way it feels like the places are moving instead of us. the tour bus has the same effect as falling asleep somewhere random as a kid and waking up in bed. you know where you are it’s just not where you were. the venues are unique in design but not function, like houses in a cookie cutter neighborhood. with a few quick directions, you can navigate it just as well as your own home. our family is huge. our paths cross repeatedly, even when we’re not at the venue or hotels. it feels like i know my neighbors in a place i’ve never been. we stick out to each other but blend in to the rest of the world. the 5th grade field trip vibe of tour life that no one ever talks about is like our own inside joke and i can’t stop laughing... . #bluewaterroadtrip #tourlife #kehlani
