Traveled to the most surreal location of my life. It felt like I had entered a parallel dimension in Death Valley. I drive through the darkest night, carrying a few things still in my soul. We passed coyotes, still and starting, and the Milky Way hung all close I could touch it. Energetically if felt like we all collectively shared an ending and a new beginning. I came to photograph a wedding. I left saying goodbye to pieces of my past that was time to say thank you and goodbye too. I wandered upon a star party. As I walked up to strangers, guided by red lights, and peered into their telescopes, and saw the rings of Saturn, I felt again the winder of this life. So many pieces set in motion a decade plus ago set me on this path, to be here, and connect with the cosmos.
