@familyportraitmagazine My Dad, Tony Aftab, was born in Lahore, Pakistan. He moved to London in 1989 following his best friend and cousin, Naveed, who's children are featured in this project. Tony struggles with short-term memory loss, caused from an accident that occured in an operation for his hydrocephalus, which is a build up of fluid in the brain. Although that means Tony often forgets things, he still has long standing fond memories of his history growing up in Pakistan. From making and flying kites on the roof of his childhood home, to bucket baths, and cricket in the street.
