Got inspired by @veronicahermiz 's post to spread my own likkle message of love. I'm not one to really post pics of myself but that's cause I used to not really be comfortable with myself, but I disolved that part of me and a lot of it has to do with the people around me, obviously there's people that aren't in these pictures these just happened to be some of my favourite pictures. But I'm not just posting this to say where my life's at, more so how I got to where I'm at, and it has a lot to do with wanting to get here. We all definetly got hit with the shit during quarantine and at a low point I came across a video where the author of a book called "the end of mental illness" explains that an easy step to help take yourself out of the negative feedback loops is to start your day by telling yourself it's gonna be a great day, then throughout the day, while you're doing things, ask yourself, is this good for my brain, then at the end of the night, before you sleep, remind yourself of all the positive things you did that day. the last part to me is super important because it helps remind me that I'm still making progress with all my work I've been doing, and it helps me keep taking the small steps in what seems like a long ass mountain hike. Another thing that really helped me was meditating daily, and the reason isnt because it's good for you, it's because its a practice for being better to others. Your presence is a present and I want to be able to be present at all times so that I can be a better friend, son, etc. Granted all I've said doesn't mean imma be happy with this method forever, imma do this for as long as it works because with life there's highs and lows, and you need to experience both to really enjoy the highs, but don't ever let a low point make you feel like shits about to end, just understand its part of your unique experience and accept it, but know you'll come out stronger. If any of y'all ever need someone to talk to, I gotchu, we all gotta learn to communicate cause once we do, we'll be free of the pain. I hope I was able to get my point across cause I'm not really gonna read this back to review it #flowstate 😂. All love, all day, always 💞❤
