My recent New York fashion/lifestyle retail tour took me to @staple21mercer, a place that is both special to sneaker culture (it’s the former home of the legendary NikeLab store) and to me (IYKYK). It feels equal parts retail and museum. This store feels like you’re supposed to reminisce, you’re supposed to discover, you’re supposed to converse and you’re supposed to feel immersed in all-things sneaker and streetwear culture — which all feels very @jeffstaple. Also, though I wasn’t present for one on this trip, the in-store events (The Alchemist, Futura, Robert Glasper) all feel like incredible moments.
