Yesterday, while Brittney Griner was pleading guilty to possession of “hashish oil cartridges” & is facing up to 10 years in Russian jail, I was driving around LA with a car full of @himalaya.vapor vapes & ended my day at @theartisttree - the most elegant & well-curated consumption lounge I’ve visited to date - with dabs + joints + live comedy + great staff + amazing company. Really put in perspective how far we’ve come and also how much work there remains to be done. So grateful to have the 💨 freedom I have in the state I live in, but also feeling so devastated for Brittney and the hundreds of thousands of cannabis prisoners both here in the US and around the world 🌎. Thankful to groups like @lastprisonerproject @natlnorml who have been fighting to keep these issues in the spotlight.
