Get your submissions in for the 2022 James Beard Awards! There's only 8 days left of the entry and recommendation period for the 2022 #jbfa Restaurant and Chef Awards! The 2022 Awards will be the first since changes were made as a result of a comprehensive audit, which involved an extensive overhaul of policies and procedures for the program. These changes include: + Revised, value-centered mission statement: we are also looking forward to hearing how your work demonstrates commitment to racial and gender equity, community, environmental sustainability, and a culture where all can thrive, in an alignment statement. + Updated policies among voting body: This includes reduced term limits, annual DEI training, and more. + Decreased entry fees, and options for scholarships: Restaurant and Chef award categories will continue to have no entry fees. + Established Code of Ethics: a guideline for all entrants, semifinalists and nominees, as well as its voting body.
