MY NERVOUSNESS IS KILLING ME *in the voice of Britney* AND I...Jokes aside, I’m reaching PEAK LEVELS 🫣 It’s been a long time coming, my first @boilerroomtv is finally happening next Sunday at @openairfly - still in disbelief, not gonna lie. I can’t help but think of the worst scenarios that would lead to it’s cancellation, because it’s been postponed, forgotten, abandoned and rescheduled so many times over the last 9 YEARS!!!! This one was supposed to take place in May 2020... looking back, we’ve been through so much since then. From at home live streams, countless mixes recorded, multiple versions of virus “containment”, barriers to travel and in my case, an inspiration dry spell. It’s wild to think exactly a year ago I was waiting to move to London in an emptied out Paris where there was still a 9PM curfew being enforced (mental)!!! Reconnecting with DJing , crowds, festivals & international travel has felt both great and brutal. Definitely chaotic. Anyway, long story short, I’m sitting at the crossroads of excitement, anticipation, anxiety and pure stress for this upcoming weekend festival 🥴 I wish I had my #chentourage with me and I’m relieved to know I’m doing this with @helenastardj - hopefully we’ll get to let loose and you’ll get a couple of smiley faces recorded on camera lol. Anyways, while I overprepare my set, I haven’t forgotten about my @nts_radio fam and I’m happy to be coming back on the airwaves Tuesday May 17th 1-2PM (🇬🇧 time) with a bag full of houseeee musiiiic.
