I have many things to be thankful for, but having the opportunity to tour Sicily with the fam is a special one. We saw a performance at a 2500 year old theatre in Taormina. Scaled a volcano in Etna. Learned how to cook Sicilian food at a local family home in Siracusa. Wandered centuries-old cobblestone alleyways in Ragusa. Learned all things baroque in Noto and Modica. Gazed upon ancient ruins in Agrigento. Immersed ourselves in Palermo culture. And, fueled ourselves along the way with copious amounts of pizza, pasta, gelato, granite and arancinis.
