⚡️ Shell has started up Europe’s largest hydrogen electrolyser of its kind at our Energy and Chemicals Park Rheinland, in Germany. Part of the #REFHYNE consortium and with funding from the EU Commission, the electrolyser uses renewable energy to produce green hydrogen. The green hydrogen will be used to produce fuels with lower-carbon intensity and to help to decarbonise other sectors such as heavy industry, aviation and road transport.
