I am extremely excited and honored to announce that I am going to further my Academic & Athletic Career to play D1 Baseball at TCU. First, I would like to thank my parents who have helped me since I first started playing the great game of baseball. They have pushed me to work my hardest in some of my roughest times and when I was in my best times. I also want to thank them for traveling everywhere for me and putting in so much time every weekend along with missing all of the family events over the past years. I can’t forget all of the time driving me to practice everyday as well. I wouldn’t be here in this position without them. Next I would like to thank Coach Russ. I can’t Thank You Enough for taking me in and selecting me to my first Grit team as an 8 year old playing up to 9 year olds. Always, pushing me to battle against bigger and better. Thank you for teaching me the simplest catching techniques when I was a little “Pudgy” kid. Thank you for taking the time every winter and any chance you had to help me work and work over and over again knowing I have always dreamt of this moment. Thank You for kicking my butt even more on the days when I was exhausted and wanted to quit the catching lesson. I have always valued you and your opinions as a Coach and Mentor. I will forever be grateful for you. Thank you for helping me be the player I am today. My teammates, You’re my brothers. Thank you for always picking me up when I would get too hard on myself. Thank you for all of the winters and summers spent together every year building relationships that I will always appreciate. I wouldn’t be in this position without you guys either and I hope you all know that. You all play a big part in my game. The way we pick each other up truly makes up a team bond.
