The houseplant revolution is here! Long live ferns! The milk thistle will not be kept down! Real talk: nurseries can’t keep plant roommates in stock. Seems when we were all forced into our various boxes the last few years, we took a look around and realized there simply wasn’t enough chlorophyll. Houseplants became the new Beanie Baby. That leads us to the most au courant live show ever (one that you are secretly wild about): the World of Houseplants Exhibit, open now through September 6 inside San Diego Botanic Garden’s 8000 square-foot glass-enclosed facility. It’s condo-living Eden in here. Visitors are able to stroll 15 gardens that represent different regions of the world, 12 demonstration gardens where they can learn in a hands-on setting, and the largest public bamboo collection in North America. It’s basically a monster-truck rally for horticulturists. Summer Nights will be open on August 11 and 25, September 8 until 8pm. Stroll through the garden at sunset, enjoy food around the fire pits and enjoy live music. @San Diego Botanic Garden
