With all the new faces here, I figured I should re-introduce myself. Afterall, my favorite part of IG is connecting with people, which can feel buried beneath the mess of algo, ads, etc... Keep reading if you’d like to get to know me as more than the guy who takes decent photos ⬇️ This is me... 👋 My home is Macon, Georgia. I love it here for many reasons, but most of all because of my proximity to what matters most: family I’m a @gtalumni 🐝 and worked as a mechanical engineer for 5 years before completely pivoting into what I do now. My little photography hobby came to the forefront. When people ask me what I like to photograph most, I tell them ‘stories + travel.’ Everybody and every place has a special story to tell, and I love how images can help share those stories. Travel photography is special because traveling helps people appreciate other stories while creating their own. I also spearhead @littleguidemacon, which is a trendy guidebook that supports local businesses. I love what I do with Little Guide because of its community impact, and the heavily photo + story based design makes it the perfect project for me. When I’m not working, I’m likely doing one of these things: • sipping coffee on the porch • playing ultimate frisbee, volleyball, or anything else • spending time with friends and family • on a mountain, hiking • mixing up craft cocktails • living my lucky life with @carly.matthews • working anyway (doesn’t count if you love your work right?)
