what would happen if strangers sat around a table and shared some challah? 💛✨      Sophie & Joe brought together young leaders at the intersection of politics, media, content creation and journalism ahead of the election for a beautiful Shabbat dinner with a catch — we weren’t allowed to say what we do for work. Brilliant.      While we didn’t agree on everything (and why should we? that sounds boring), I was pleasantly reminded that THIS is what makes our American democracy sacred… having the right to freely exchange ideas with the intention of improving our society.       With November quickly approaching, energy is high but so is increased polarization. My friends @theconversationalist are teaching us how to serve as the great unifiers.       I invite you to speak with folks whose views differ from your own more often. What can you learn and how can you grow from hearing a new perspective? At our core, we’re all just people doing our best.       💙@shticknyc    🏠 @_wethebench    📸 @morgan.winston
