I had this hilarious moment today where I was deep in computer stats land and saw that I had reached 100 customers for @rutt_au. Midway through writing an appreciation post I stopped and realised that was wrong, and that I’d surpassed that number a while back without noticing. I felt silly but really really thankful. Sometimes it feels quite hard to be doing through living. Starting a business has been a really great way for me to realise and solidify my dreams and goals, but it can often also feel vague and difficult. Coming from a modelling career, a really big part of this learning process has been unwinding what is “myself” and what is work. Being an advocate for sustainability through my practice at times has felt the same. Creating through RUTT has given me the foundations to discover what my creativity means to me without having to be the face of it all the time. I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has shown support of what I am doing, whether through advice, sharing, caring, liking or wearing. I feel like I have gained compassion through this experience, both for myself and others, which is to me the most valuable commodity in the world. So, thank you.
