SOON THIS WILL BE OVER Sarabande Summer Group Show 2022 Artist Takeover with @rosiegibbens Planned Obsolescence A life-size sculpture of an office worker becoming 2D by squeezing through a printer. It was partly inspired by digital body scans. These are made up of a 3D figure and then a 2D net or 'skin' which stretches over the body. This work references these two states and uses a cheap and inefficient office printer as an absurd stand-in for high-tech 3D printing technology. I was also thinking about the trend of photocopying your bum at the office Christmas party.
