In less than 100 years of production, it has worked its way into every corner of the planet. 🤷⁣ ⁣ Despite this, big oil - in league with brands like Coca-Cola, Nestlé, PepsiCo, and Unilever - continue to push massive amounts of single-use plastic into the world.⁣ ⁣ However, we now have a historic opportunity to create one of the most important environmental pacts in history - the negotiations for a Global #PlasticsTreaty start next week in Uruguay.⁣ ⁣ It is time to say enough is enough. We need our governments to understand that the vast majority of people want real action that will drastically reduce production and use, keep oil in the ground, and finally end the age of plastic. ⁣ ⁣ Agree?
