they are unsatisfied until they are able to control women, angry at our power, and sense of purpose. I am not livestock. I am not a person to ever be controlled by a man. I am not ethereal or “magical” I AM HUMAN. I blow glass, write poetry, make love to the camera, I lift weights, and make dinner for myself every night. I choose independence, I have a right to my independence, my frustration, to falling in love and the right to decide when I want to start a family. A woman’s decision does not need to be justified to you or explained away so that you allow her agency over her own body. It is her business. Her choice. And that is all. This not only affects abortion rights, but your right to intimacy, IVF treatment, medical privacy, contraception, even medical staff… and will hugely impact poorer communities of color negatively. If there are any women ESPECIALLY BLACK WOMEN out there who just need to talk or need help finding resources now or in the future, I would be happy to help or just be there for you if you need. Marching boots in hand. If young women need help around you HELP THEM. Please do not be ashamed. And men…. how about we do some speaking some action???? You will NEVER stop abortions, you will only stop safe ones.
