today’s advanced arm series with the dowel. my personal favorite prop that intensifies EVERYTHING. while the series may start off feeling light from the curl, it’ll quickly heat up the shoulders by adding in the lateral flexion and overhead reach. on deck I snuck in a cheeky hip lift pinching into our obliques with a focus on scapular stability by driving firm through our supporting palm. then I finished ‘er off with an iso hold in the hips and torso to focus on shoulder (and tbh mental) strength. fave post class comment: “the flow was so seamless I didn’t realize how hard it was until we finished.” anddddd my job here is done 🫡 #pilates #reformerpilates #nycpilates #nycfitness #pilatesinstructor
