russia has started heavily attacking previously occupied territories again... all our new friends that we spent months loving on are at risk for being under occupation again. approximately 100,000 russian soldiers that have just been mobilized are already on the fronts with kilometers worth of military equipment...though i am so happy for the liberation of Kherson... All of these monsters are heading towards Donbas. It’s already so brutal here. Today alone so many were killed and injured in the battalion that we have been supporting. These russians are like ants coming and coming, trampling on their own dead to get where they need to go. I dont even know where they’re continuing to get their equipment and ammunition from, but they don’t seem to run out. A lot of these mobilized soldiers are also pulled from prisons. Their sentence is terminated if they complete certain tasks. Can you even comprehend this? You’re in jail for rape? Be free, but as long as you go and rape. You’re sitting for murder? Be free, go murder... There is talk about “the next stage” of the war. Winter will be absolutely cruel, and Putin is waiting for it. The amount of people that have told me that they will take their own life if russia comes back is terrifying. The problem is this time around ... there’s no way that they’re coming out alive anyway. russia is going to come back and destroy what they didn’t get around to destroying the first time. russia has also made it clear they’re coming back with lists and photos of those that publicly praised Ukraine’s victory. (Those are now considered traitors and collaborators). Public executions are coming back. In many zones there’s still no water, no gas, no electricity. Next week temperatures will already be negative. There’s no good news. The world has flipped upside down.... one of the saddest parts about all of this is seeing the worlds angry reaction when Zelenskyy begs for help, more funding, more equipment. How i feel about this deserves a segment of its own hah. Many outside of Ukraine live with a false sense of security thinking the war is contained only in Ukraine... tragic.
