“Ready to Fall - A Work in Progress” We brought our multitalented friend Chloe into our studio to further our experimentation in shutter drag and projection. After testing a variety of different projected images from a mood board originally given to us by @stephaniepym, we came upon the idea to just display the entire Pinterest mood board itself. Inspired by The Andy Warhol Diaries series recently released on Netflix, we decided to project a board of his work on Chloe while she danced in a white dress. After reviewing the images, we went back and forth about which shot best represented this concept. Eventually we realized that this shoot needed to be viewed as a series in order to fully appreciate the beauty of Chloe’s movements and her transformation from one shape to another. We created a slideshow to quickly demonstrate the concept. After showing @laurajanebower, she wrote an original song to accompany the visuals. We then took the piece to @latenight_cereal who edited and animated the visuals to Laura’s track. So far 5 artists have altered this piece, once an artist has affected the installation, their work on this project is essentially finished.
