The best way forward is to give yourself the assignments you want and show people you’re ready to be paid for it. — creating the music video you want to dance in — creating the immersive show you want to go to — doing the thing before someone needs you for their thing. If you can show people you’re already doing the work you want to be a part of, you’ll be the ideal candidate when they’re looking to pay someone to make their vision come to life.
