That second video might not look like anything is wrong. But if you knew the full story you would see how nervous my smile is. You could maybe see that I am barely holding my composure together. You could feel how exhausted I was from being told how & what I should be. The hesitation to move closer to him. I’m sharing this for all the people out there that have altered their boundaries for someone who never even tried to respect them. For the people who have experienced or are experiencing being manipulated & conditioned by emotional abuse to just say yes when inside you’re screaming no. For the person that knows, deep in your gut, that you are not being treated kindly or valued, you’re just being used. I’m sharing this for that little voice that is trying to get you to see the truth. You can leave. You can heal. You deserve to love & be loved consistently & safely.
