I never used to understand morning risers Every morning before work my alarm would go off and I would hit snooze at least 3 times no matter how early I went to sleep at night I’d barely have enough time to brush my teeth and chuck on some clothes before making my commente to work I’d rush into the office and the first thing I would do is look for coffee and cake before sitting down at my desk for hours... I thought I could never be someone who woke up easily But the reality was this: I wasn’t struggling to get up in the morning because i was tired I was struggling because I was unfulfilled. I didn’t find my ‘why’. This year I discovered a deep sense of purpose A have passion and drive Every morning I have boxes I need to tick for ME Waking up early is easy Now I naturally wake up at 5am Ready for the grind The mornings between 5 and 9am whilst most people are asleep are the most productive Quiet. No distractions. Alone time. Reflection. With all of the devices and constant communication we have these days it’s so easy to feel overwhelmed Like you don’t even have time to think let alone exercise or walk or practice self care Those few hours in the morning are precious This has now become my protected time Waking up earlier makes me MORE energised because I can be productive and efficient It sets me up right for the day and makes me hungrier to achieve my goals Stop sleeping on your progress...
