I just have to give a big shout out to Charlotte Hope Westaway. Charlotte self taped for a fabulous US Disney Film this week. The minute I watched her tape, I was glued and I got "one of those feelings!". I knew she would get a call back or availability check as her tape was just too good AND YES she did but sadly the film starts shooting in September and there is not enough time to obtain her 0-1 visa. Oh so heartbreaking as this role was 100% Charlotte's. Casting just loved her. This happened to another one of my actors about 3 weeks ago who was renewing his visa but could not get into the embassy until September. Sadly for Aussies, this happens a lot but what I take from it is the fact that these actors were in the mix for such big roles so all I can say is they are up there, they are ready and they will get the next one! I am very proud and look how gorgeous she is. So much character and sass which is exactly what they wanted for this lead role. #teamgilchrist #proudmanager #actor #star #disney
