This weekend, the boys and I cuddled up and watched Ferdinand. It’s such a great movie, and I realized the moral of the story is that you don’t have to buy into toxic masculinity! You can choose not to fight! You can smell flowers and share your vulnerable feelings with other guys! You can keep your gentle heart intact! Later, as I put him to bed, Toby asked if we could watch more movies like Ferdinand.
