I am so happy that I got a chance to go for a little solo hike today. However it was a bit stressful because I was not as prepared as I would have liked. I definitely should have had my own bear spray; I picked up this bearspray from the trailhead because someone had left it there I guess or maybe a park ranger put it there but I was happy to have it. I realized about halfway up my that the bearspray had expired and I also realized I had not seen a single other person so I got a bit spooked and decided to turn around.
