🏊🏻‍♀️🏊🏻‍♂️🏊 10 days until the @ironmantri World Championships!!! So excited to return to Kona for the first time since 2019 (pre-Covid). For the next 10 days I’ll post my all-time favorite photos I’ve shot at the Super Bowl of Triathlon. Covering the historic race since 2000, Kona has been such an important part of my career, being able to document some unbelievable races and amazing athletes, watching the sport grow and making some special friendships. But more importantly returning to Hawaii and feeling and respecting the mana and energy from this sacred place. This image here of the mass swim start in 2012 was taken hanging outside of a helicopter with a handheld camera back when all 2,000+ age group triathletes would start at the same time.
