Released 30yrs ago today “Set me free” (piano dub) produced by me & homie @original_wonder 🎹 by @rteph88 vocals by @glynpoole 🎤 we were massively inspired by @masters_at_work_official @frankieknucklesfoundation and @djdavidmorales at the time. There were 3 other mixes of this song but this was the mix that got the props. I remember @graemepark calling me up to tell me it was his 5x 🕺🏾🕺🏾🕺🏾🕺🏾🕺🏾track of the week in @mixmag. We were absolutely buzzing! I Bombed over to the infamous @fac51thehaciendaofficial in Manchester to hear him play it. I would always knock the dj door when I went and @graemepark would always give me a mixtape ( which I still have many of them😉) absolutely incredible times for club music in 92’.
