The Zajac Ranch for Children Foundation was founded in honor of the Zajac Brothers, Mel Jr., and Marty Zajac. Mel Jr. and Marty were both avid sports athletes and enthusiasts. The brother both tragically passed away in 2 separate sporting accidents, 8 months apart. Their parents, Mel Sr. and Irene Zajac created the foundation in their son’s honor and to help give children and young adults with severe medical conditions and different abilities the ability to enjoy summer camp without the worries of physical, mental or financial barriers and to just be able to be children in a safe and supportive environment.
